Living One Day at a Time

Early this morning, after making fun some of my old stuff, including an old make up kit, I received a text message from an old friend, inviting me, together with some other friends for a get together- like a reunion because we’ve seen each other since last year. I wondered if that make up kit still makes miracles… So, I wore my best dress, put some blushed on for a rosy cheek, and a little bit of red lipstick to add colour to my pale lips. I also added some eye shadow and mascara to enhance my eye lashes. I will later shine at the get together like a dazzling diva!

The get-together was fun. I was a little bit tipsy when I went home using Carpool with  my school friends. We used do to this before and so we plan to do it again. Since it’s only once in a blue moon we meet each other. Then, as I sat in front of the mirror, it struck me! Ekkk! Frankenstein is a girl and she is on my mirror!!!!! I actually have two black moon-shape under my two eyes. That local-made-slash-cheap-slash-ancient mascara failed me! Waaahhhhh! The fact that nobody tried to tell me about my Frankenstein look, I guess they didn’t know how to drop the bomb or probably they were too drunk to notice? Hahaha!

Oh, well…

During one of my trips outside the city, my niece called me up just to ask me if a can bring her a digital camera from vivitar digital cameras when I came home. So after my first day seminar, I proceeded to the shop and look for that digital camera. And thank God I found it. The next day I brought it in our seminar and took shots on the guest speakers and other participants I meet.

As soon as I arrived in my hotel room, I uploaded them on my laptop and I was amaze that I got a lot of shots. On my last day at the city, I went strolling around to capture the city’s view. When I arrived at home, my niece was delighted and asked us to take a posed as her first masterpiece. LOL!

Last weekend, I went shopping on baby gifts for the baby shower party of my friend. We will be hosting a surprise party for her at the office. My other officemates organize some party games and the others will prepare the foods. We also invited her husband to come as her surprise guest. I hope she will like and enjoy our simple surprise for her.

My brother wanted to have a back rack on his pick up car. He searched in the online shop where he can buy it with the cheapest price. He found one and asked me to order for him since I have an account with one of their payment cards. My brother thanks me a lot and I can see how excited he was.

Every morning I make my daily routine of walking as my exercise along the park. Many people prefer this as a form of fitness and as a hobby too which they call hiking. At the park there were also early risers for jogging and biking. After an hour of walking around the park, I decided to go home and drop by the bakery shop for fresh bread on my breakfast. When I arrived home the early newspaper is already on my mailbox. Today it was so thick full of advertising fliers from Supermarkets, Car shops, Department stores and even from a real estate Branson. As I’m having my breakfast, I read first its inspirational pages to motivate me for the rest of the day.
