Living one day at a time

Tomorrow I will be spending the weekend at my old friend’s hotel. She had come home to spend time with her family and friends. It’s been ten years since she left and we found each other through the internet. We were still kids when she and her family migrated to America and we would write letters. But as we grew older we lost our communication. But when the internet started, when there was no Facebook and Friendster yet, but people search engine. I saw her and immediately touched base. From then on, we managed to update each other and continued to keep the friendship flaming. Two months ago, when she informed me of her coming back home, I got so excited about it that I have planned our get together right there and then.

Together with some other friends, we are planning to spend a night at the hotel she will be staying and then off we go to a nice beach resort near our area. The beach resort offers sea, air and land adventures like Banana Boat rides, Parasailing and ATV driving. Everything is ready and now I can not sleep. Me and my friends keep on sending SMS to each other. I wonder if we will still have stories to tell tomorrow?! LOL! Ahhhh! I really can’t wait, I want to get my things and ride at the next taxi coming!
