Living one day at a time

I got a news a while ago that my newly married best friend is two weeks pregnant. Excitedly I also called my mom to pass the news. My mom and my best friend are also best of friends.

When I got home, my mom wanted me to deliver to my best friend’s house some infant clothing, feeding products and a babies and toddler buying guide that she bought right after hearing the news. How excited! Haha!. My best friend and her husband were very delighted for those items. They came with me in going home to see and thank my mom. We had dinner at home while mom was telling them a lot of stories about her being pregnant with us. We are all excited.

I spent the whole day of yesterday at my friend’s place. Its been two days since she was discharged from the hospital. She got overdosed with sleeping pills. I didn’t know she was going through something. She was being secretive about it.

It was her birthday yesterday. Her family gave her a simple surprise party. Since last month, I’ve been thinking of what to give her. After reading a health and beauty products guide, I bought her some health products, some cosmetics and fragrance gifts which she appreciated. Some other friends of ours came and we bonded for the whole day. It was heart warming when my friend poured out her emotions. I am happy she is now open. I hope she will be totally ok very soon.
