Everybody knows that being in an auditing firm requires one to be not only mentally but also physically fit because of work demands. Lately, our firm moved to a new place somewhere in the metropolis.

Since our building includes a gym and a sports center, we are all encouraged by our big bosses to have our physical activities more often. They also approved a budget for the purchase of Lockers for employees. Being in the purchasing department, it was our job to canvas for the cheapest but quality Metal Lockers or Steel Lockers. After a week, we got a slightly used School Lockers from a closing high school near our area. The school just renewed their lockers in the beginning of the year. It was way cheaper from the others we saw. We were just lucky the school is stopping its operations so it needed to dispose its properties. Now, all of our employees see to it that they spend at least two hours of physical activities everyday. Cool? I think healthy is more appropriate! :-)

Two of our employees, Mona and Kathy will be getting married to their respective fiancées this month. Our boss assigned me to be the one in charged with a get together party to wish our co-employees the best into entering the married life. Part of my assignment is buying a gift for each of them. After thinking and asking suggestions from the people around me, I decided to buy gift certificates (because I don’t have time to choose and buy) from an appliances store. A lot of them agreed with me when I asked about giving the two kitchen appliances. Since I’m letting them buy their gifts.

I’m also giving Mona, Ovens Buying Guide because she loves baking. And for Kathy, I’m giving her Kitchen Appliances Buying Guide. I hope I’m doing this right. (fingers crossed). The party will be held tonight. I still need to do some follow ups. Its kinda tiring, but its ok, we are looking forward to enjoy tonight.

When my parents left for a 5 day cruise, they all gave me all the authority over the whole households -meaning, including my 6 year old twin nephews. But as they say, authority comes with responsibility. At first, it was ok as the whole household overseer, until I didn’t notice, one of my nephews brought his baseball ball inside the house. When I was busy preparing dinner, they played baseball inside the house! And you got it right, a lot of breakables got broken, including my mom’s favorite flower vase and blomus stainless steel teaset. I got angrier when after that incident, one of the twins was commenting that if the other hit the ball harder, it was possible that the ball could have hit the TV instead of just the blomus stainless steel wall mounted CD/DVD rack! Whaa! Kids!

When I told my dad what happened, we agreed not to tell mom about her broken favorite things. My dad asked me to find and buy the same flower vase and teaset before they come home. After talking to my dad, I heard again the kids arguing. It turned out that they played with the blomus stainless steel fireplace tool set and now some tools are missing! Whaaa! Where did these kids got those genes?! Thank goodness, when I searched online, I saw the same teaset and fireplace tools at www.thestainlesssteelstore.com So, as if nothing bad happened when my parents were away. Whew!

I was rushing my work when its time to print them, there was no ink in my printer. Good thing the shops are still open and I went out to buy the ink. The shop owner was so friendly that she gave me Vista Print coupons. I immediately went home to finish my work. After checking all the papers, I sealed in the envelop and drove in the nearby post box. On my way home I dropped by at the food chain for I am very hungry that I forgot to take my lunch for the day.
