My friend, who was relocated with his job in a Marketing Company in other country for almost 3 yrs, arrived yesterday. He asked my favor in fetching him the airport. He looked very different now but still, he has a very good sense of humor. After driving him home. He promised me to have a dinner with them after a few days because he was very tired that time. When we met for dinner like he promised each other earlier, he brought us to an Indian restaurant. He was lecturing me about the spices the Indians use as food colors, spices and medicines. One is the ingredients which is not only an Indian delicacy ingredient but also use as a cure for malaria patients. Others he mentioned were almost all not just spices but as medicines as well. At the end I offer to pay some share of the bill but he discourage me. He said he will pay full because that’s his treat for being promoted in his job. He told us that he worked hard to achieve the promotion. Yes he is right from the time we were classmates, I can attest that he is already a diligent student as well as an industrious employee in our work company before. I told him he deserve it right his position now.

My dad and I are contemplating about investing on a real estate. It would be a good investment for the whole family. A good place of comfort not only for everyday but most especially during the holidays and family occasions. We are a clannish family where in we consider every relative, to the 6th or even 7th degree of consanguinity, as if an immediate member of the household. That’s how close we are. Being one of the eldest in the whole clan, aside from my grand father, it’s my dad’s responsibility to gather our relatives especially during the holidays. We love hosting family gatherings and we are sure we can accommodate them all with a bigger and better place. We’ll begin scouting for the best real estate that will fit us all this coming month.

My dad will be closing a deal with a real estate agent as soon as the site assessment is given to him. The land premise still needs to be cleared from potential and existing soil and water contamination. The quality of ground water should also be checked and the possible improvements should be identified. The lot will become the site of our family’s new dwelling place. I am much exited to be involved in the designing of the new house. The truth is that I bought architecture and interior design books already. I also consulted Boston Self Storage for our big move soon. I will start my research for other designs and house planning after my last trip this month.

My uncle celebrated his 65th birthday two months ago. Being an official position in a multinational company for almost 3 decades, he got a retirement home in Holland. He has always been fascinated by the place that’s why he has been planning to settle there after retiring. With his properties being left here, he donated the others to the needy and sold the remaining. On his retirement party, the organizers in his foundation are the guest including the school youth he is sending to schools. As a gratitude to them they organize a fund raising for out of school children in their area. They have collected some cash donations, schools supplies, entertainment showcase and sport gears like Soccer Equipment, Basketballs, Volleyballs and many more. We were also invited on the said gift giving day.

My uncle was very happy that what he had started that is sharing his blessings to others are now a success. At the end my uncle assured that he will offer his help in the foundation even he is out of the country. And I learned also that he will be putting up another foundation in his new place soon. For the meantime we were assigned to help manage the foundation my uncle started in our place. I don’t know how to start but with my will power I can do it as what I said in the turn over ceremony yesterday.

Early this year, I got a promotion in my existing employment. I’m not the typical office girl anymore. With my new job position, I get to travel a lot, dealing with new clients and visiting our existing clients to cater to their needs. 0ne time, my five year old nephew asked me if he could join me in my trips because he wanted to ride on an airplane. Aside from informing me that I can not attend to his needs if he’ll go with me because I’ll be very busy, I gave him an alibi that kids under 7 years of age are not allowed to travel with out their parents. But he told me his mom is very busy nowadays. With his desire to ride on planes, he innocently asked me if he can hide in my luggage so that we will not be questioned at the airport. I wanted to laugh but I didn’t want him to feel bad. I just asked him a favor what can I bring for him from my trips. He excitedly uttered a pair of Baseball Gloves. That’s a good idea and so I told him to ask his mom, when she’ll not be busy, so that they can go with me in my next trip. He gladly said yes and went straight to convince his mom.

My cousin and his family from Boston came for a short visit last weekend. My cousin got an incentive of touring Europe with his whole family for free. I was asked by my dad to accompany him to fetch them from the airport. We anticipated they have a lot of luggage sets that’s why we took the two cars. As they appear at the airport’s waiting area, they really have a lot of stuff with them as if they are the Boston Moving Company with their lots of baggage. Anyway, after greeting each other they can’t hide their excitement to visit Europe. I know they will like Europe, the way I did.

In their itinerary we prepared for them. We will first tour them around our place. We will start in our market place where our municipal hall and our church can be seen. Near the church is the hospital then we will walk under those chestnut tress towards the small river. When we will be hungry by that time we will go back to the market area to eat in the Korean restaurant. After that we will go to the water castle for some photo shooting. On the next day we will tour them on the lake, another castle ruin, windmill, opencast mining and the old car museum. For the other days, we will visit the cities in the borderlines. We hope they will enjoy their short stay here.

Summer has always been the best season for us. It’s the time of the year where we get to spend a longer period with our love ones, as compared with the holidays. Kids have summer vacations and often times we get summer work leaves. And most of these free times are spent at our home while bonding with the whole family. For this summer, I am planning to have our lawn get a new landscape. More grass and plants sh0uld be added. I am also thinking of putting a sand box and a seesaw on the left side corner for the kids and outdoor furniture on the opposite side. I’m sure everyone; especially the kids will love to see these new things this summer.

I am also planning to have a general cleaning in the house since everyone are around to help me. First I like to renovate our attic for more space and rooms in the house. It would going to be our home office or work room. My problem is how would to start the clean up and renovation when the attic is full of valuable things. I cant simply disposed them. To my curiosity, I searched the net some tips in packing and I found this website Art Storage. They offer a space for some belongings, properties paintings and arts to be stored with them securely and safely. What a good idea from them. For now I am really excited to pursue this plan of mine.
