Living One Day at a Time

My cousin came for a visit last weekend. She was carrying so many shopping bags with her. I knew she haven’t gave up her shopping spree addiction. There was a time when she had been spending too much that most of her credit cards companies froze her account and her last sort was a Sell Endowments. This time after paying all her debt with them, she canceled all her cards. She minimized shopping especially for things that she doesn’t need. Her reason before was she just pampering herself from her earned hard work.

Then, I asked her about the things she is carrying and that did she had another shopping spree again. She just laughed and she said she didn’t have a shopping spree, she just bought some gifts for the kids and for my mom and dad. I told her I was glad to know she overcome her shopping addicti0n. She told me she has not yet totally over it but she is trying to
discipline herself in the best way that she can.

Well, I am glad that she have change a lot and I hoped she could achieve the goals she set. And that in the end, she would realize that non of the materials things she craved for that matters.

I think my email provider is not working anymore. I have not been receiving email messages ever since Sunday. Its very surprising to have zero new emails in my inbox. It just feels weird because I receive about twenty to forty new emails everyday. The last two emails I received was the one from Online Casino Games informing me about their new games. I had also some coupons from other online shops. I am waiting for some emails from friends and a reminder from my online reminder. But since this morning my mailbox is still empty. I wonder what happened with my account. I hope this will be fix the sooner the better. I cant wait to read the email from my friend who had just get married last weekend. I am excited to see their pictures which they will going to send me through email. I was supposed to attend the wedding but I got no leave from my work. Since I was send to a seminar that same day. I was happy that they both understood me. And told me that they were grateful of me because I was the one who bridge them and find their path to each other arms. I remember their first meeting was just a simple blind date.

Thinking a lot lately, I realized I am living in a place where I am going thru life as fast as I can. I wonder if my savings can buy me a real estate for sale, where I can put up a nice and peaceful place that I can go to every month to relax and shave away my stresses. I want to take things in my life slowly. I don’t want a fast life anymore. It’s speeding up my aging process. Aaaaah! I really need to iron my plans. Anyway I just got envied the other day on the reportage on TV about the life of the common people who became instant millionaires by winning in the lottery. And the latest was a fast food chain employee who won a million but he still continue working in the fast food chain. Oh life, where will you bring us.

Ever wonder how life always slap you with unexpected situations? Like being really happy in a wrong scenario. You know it’s wrong but you don’t want to quit because it’s making your life exciting. Then it would be too late to realize that you’ve been rocked and pressed down by life itself. Along with your realization is your disappointment of your own human judgement. At this point you feel you are stuck and drowning in a quick sand. Then suddenly, when you are about to give up, you feel you are being pulled away from where you are in by some sort of a superhero. You’ve been saved! Saved by your own positive values that you have been carrying all along. You have gain strength to face these trials with your values as your armor and your sword. Then you find yourself winning victoroiusly in the battlefield. Change is not the only thing permanent in this world. Your positive values should also be permanent in you! That was the excerpt of the book I bought in my favorite bookstore this afternoon while I accompanied hubby to buy a magazine about Online Casinos. After that we went on the fast food corner of the shopping center for a pizza. We headed home in time of our weekend DVD nights. What a great stress buster for us to end the week.

Moving from place to place is one of the most hassle activities that you would get through. As much as possible, we would like to stay at our place for the rest of our lives. But, as they say, change is the only thing permanent on earth. Seasons and reasons change and all the time, we are not in control of these changes. Sometimes, we have to move on with our lives at the same time we have to move out from our places where we are staying.

Packing then unpacking the things is also a hard task but with the help of friends and relatives can make it a little bit easier. Before the big move we will have a garage sale to earn a saving. My little brother asked me if he can sell also his old computer and games magazines for a little amount. My hubby was interested with the magazines and he found the last month edition of his favourite game magazines. He choose the one with an article about Casino Tropez. My little brother was pleased and excited since he got already his first customer. For us, we hope that we can make everything in order before summer comes.
