Last Friday, I realized that my best friend who is working in the US has stopped communicating with me since last month. She has not been replying my emails and my sms messages. Wondering how she has been, I tried to call her on my mobile phone. Sometimes her phone rings but most of the time I cannot connect to her phone. Getting worried, I searched my address book for the land line number of her office. After some minutes of searching, I finally found it and I started dialing. I really could not explain what was happening that day with the telephone lines because it took me almost an hour to get connected to Boston. My imagination tells me, maybe some alien spaceships could have collided with our satellite. That’s why the communcti0n lines were not functioning!
When finally, somebody answered my call, I immediately asked for my friend. The person on the other line informed me that my friend is having a meeting that time with the Boston IT Services people and that I can leave a message so that she could call me once she is informed. I was thanking God that time knowing she is just really busy. When she called me up an hour after, she was very apologetic. It turned out t hat she is heading a project this time. But then again, I am glad she is alright.
