I was running late this morning in going to work. I almost jumped out of the car when my dad put it on stop in front of the building where my office is located. I walked as fast as I could in going to the elevator. To my surprise, I step on to something, making me loose my balance and get knocked down as I entered the elevator! As I stood up, I caught the thing which I stepped on earlier, its a gold chain with a big heart shaped pendant. As I was holding it, a woman from behind came to me telling me that the necklace is hers while being so apologetic of what happened. She accompanied me at the clinic. Luckily, I didn’t have major injury! Just some small bruises.

I was invited to attend a house blessing ceremony by my best friend and her fiancé last Sunday. The house was designed by best friend’s fiancé who is an architect by profession. The two-storey house has a very modern design. Its landscapes emphasized their love for nature. Inside, the modern artistic design is being complemented by its modern furniture. The house was built just in time for their exchange of marriage vows this February.

Every month, we the parishoners organize an out reach program to the needy. Parishoners in our village collect donations of canned goods, use clothes, medical supplies and some educational stuffs to be distributed to the needy. This was done through the help of our beloved sponsors who have well enough in life and share their blessings to their fellowmen. The organizers choose particular places that are far away in the city. We visit them and provide them a different day of entertainment, free medication and checkup and a group lunch with them. In that course of the day with them, we provided them a simple smile on their faces.
