They are scheduled to put these in on a mountain nearby but we are fighting tooth and nail to keep them out. I do love the grace and engineering of them. But where they are putting them here they are not of value and just destroy more habitat and wilderness. To line somebody else’s pocket. (Sorry: it’s quite an emotional issue here!).
I understand your reservation on letting people “touch’ your place. i feel the same way when i see trees cut to give way to tall buildings and other architecture.
Windmill…I think it is amazing…some will be installed in the farms around the school I work. There is a report to be signed, so that the population should manifest their opinion, for or against it….

Wind power is very beautiful. I often wonder why people find these windmills to be unsightly.

I see them in movies and TV programs. It would be nice to see them and take pictures. We don’t have these in Singapore.
