The Christmas party, red carpet style at the office last December 22 was a blast. The food was great and wine flooded the entire party. A lot us showcased our hidden talents during the short program. The dating game played by my single officemates was fun. The winners’ prize was a Christmas date for two at Madison’s Grill. Awww…How romantic! There were also other raffle give aways and a got a gift certificate from Phoenix cosmetic dentist.

Everyone was grateful for my gifts during the gift giving ceremony. I got lots of gifts too. But the highlight of the party was the recognition awards ceremony held during the last part. Being with them for a long time, my new boss corroborated with me in giving some awards to my officemates. Everyone was delighted to get their individual awards. I thought I won’t get one, but my boss gave me “a diva award,” because I got the highest score at the video-oke machine. Haha!

My dad was asking me the other week what gift I want to receive this Christmas. I told him, he should not bother and besides I should be the one giving him a gift. He just laughed at what I said. Two days before Christmas, my dad told me my car broke down that’s why he left my car at the car shop for repair. Then on Christmas day, he surprised me with San Diego used cars. A Chevrolet Trailblazer 2002. It really rocked! Thanks dad!

This time I should take care of it and park it always in our garage because I dont trust my neighbors anymore because of what happened before the holidays where in some automative tools just gone and we could find it. I admit I may be forgetful at times but what’s puzzling about it is that a lot of our devises were getting lost that week.Until I found out some distant neighbour was stealing them and selling the tools at the near by second hand store. Since my dad was really fuming about the tools, I went to shop to that store for the lost equipment and there, I encounter our own tools for sale. I didn’t have a choice but to buy them back.

The next day, me and my dad went out to buy a good tool storage. We just have to be overprotective with the things we can’t live without.

Bad connection…

Network problems…

Cursed cellphones…

But we somehow manage to connect.

Things simply work when reaching out to you!

When Uncle Bob, my dad’s younger brother, came to visit for the holidays, he saw our cars’ new look (with the rear spoilers and billet grille). He was telling us he wanted to buy a new car. His old beetle is retiring from service. That is my dad’s first car in his teenage years. With that, he was asking me what brand and model do I suggest he should buy. I told him that the car he should buy would depend on how much money he could raise from selling his old car. But he immediately told us, he will donate car to Car Angel (www.carangel.com) It is a non-profit company that uses car and other donations to make videos for kids and teens. Sample video can be seen below. They have given away over 2.4 million videos. Money raised is used to make the videos.

Uncle Bob has always been the helpful type. For the car that he will be buying, I will soon write about it.
