I’m with Colin, those lines anywhere are always ugly. I guess that’s the price we pay for modernization and progress.
The picture IS pretty, however, and intriguing.

Here in FW we have a Boy scout hike that follows miles and miles of power lines so that photo has fun memories for me of doing this w/ my boys when i was their cub scout leader about 15 years ago
This photo reminds me of the summer road trips we used to take as children- nothing to look at on the flat prairie but the endless stretch of power lines. Thank you for the flashback!

Power lines are always such an interesting object to photograph. They are always so similar, yet different! Great shot!

It looks like they cultivate their fields right up (and under?) the transmission tower.
