This day has been a very busy day at work. When we visited my aunt’s place last week, my mom got envy with my aunt’s garden. Her garden’s new design has complemented her newly renovated veranda. She has roses, calla lily, lantana and other hanging plants. It was really beautiful.
My aunt gave us some cuttings and indoor plants too for my mom to plant in her garden and to take care of. To my mom‘s excitement, we bought online on some Planters which my mom saw in a magazine. When I went home last night, I was surprised to see my 15 year old nephew. I used to baby sit him and now he is a young man! He is now in his junior year in high school. Being the temporary assistant/secretary in my boss’ office, I also do some of my boss’ personal transactions. Last week, he asked to attend an auction sponsored by his alma mater. I was also asked to pick up her daughter from school. My boss secretary is on maternity leave that’s why I’ll be doing some more personal stuff for him for some time. Yesterday, I received a call from my boss asking me to search the internet for Residential Mailboxes, Address Plaques, and whitehall mailboxes . His son went home drunk the other night and he bumped and crushed their mailbox. Good thing his son did not suffer serious injuries.
This morning, I was touched by my boss gesture. He brought me a cake and a bouquet of flowers as signs of gratitude for helping him in his personal dealings.
